I recently stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for a place to stay during my journey from the south to Paris, and let me tell you, it was pure luck! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the warm and friendly welcome to the attention to detail in every aspect of the stay, the owners, Sara and Serge, have created something truly exceptional. The location is perfect for those traveling by car, as it is conveniently situated near major motorways and beautiful national roads. The hotel itself is a restored chateau, and the interior reflects the perfect blend of 19th-century elegance and 21st-century comfort. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with all the modern amenities one could ask for, including Wi-Fi and electrically operated window shutters. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast spread, which included a delightful surprise of homemade apple pie with walnuts. It's little touches like these that truly set this hotel apart and make it a worthwhile stay.
Nothing fell short of my expectations.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique chateau with charming history. the location was perfect for day trips to nearby tourist sites. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a very homey feel to it. our hosts were outstanding and created an excellent balance between being friendly and professional. the breakfast was fresh, tasty, and a good start to each day. the wine choice was impressive, and the food was outstanding, prepared by a talented chef with organic produce grown on the grounds.
We found a lack of facilities such as a fitness center or pool, but the exceptional service and charming atmosphere more than made up for it.

The warm and friendly welcome upon my very late arrival was much appreciated. the beautiful setting of the house, surrounded by tranquil countryside, added to the magical experience of my stay. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the room was spotless and tastefully furnished, providing both comfort and authenticity. the ensuite bathroom was immaculate and well provisioned, ensuring a comfortable stay. the hosts were charming and knowledgeable, offering fascinating insights into the local customs, history, and cuisine.
One minor issue was the difficulty in finding the hotel's location. the lack of clear directions led to getting lost for almost an hour.

Over Easter we had a great time at a beautiful spot in the French countryside. The rooms were fantastic with great amenities. The location was perfect, only a few minutes drive from the main roads and easy to find. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the relaxed pace over the holiday, which was exactly what we were looking for. We also appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable staff that made us feel right at home.
The only downside we could see was that there weren't many activities to do on site. However, this was not unexpected given the location and focus of the hotel.
